People ask why I named this page “About Pulse” instead of “About Us.” It's because there is no company story here worth telling — only a personal one. I wasn't trying to build a product. I was trying to survive a stretch of my life where I couldn't keep a single promise to myself, and journaling was the only thing that ever slowed the noise down long enough for me to think straight.
When I lost the rhythm, I lost the thing that was holding me together.
The problem was I could never keep it going. I'd buy a beautiful notebook, write in it for four or five days with real intention, and then miss one morning. That one missed morning always turned into a closed drawer.
Pulse is my attempt to protect that rhythm from myself. Every prompt, every 90-day arc, every small design decision exists to make it harder to quit and easier to just show up for ten minutes. It didn't start as a business idea. It started as the tool I needed and couldn't find anywhere else.
Year Reflection & Guided Planner
Near the end of the 90 days, Pulse walks you through a guided year reflection instead of just ending — you look back across everything you wrote, notice the patterns that shaped your months, and use them to plan the next stretch with intention. Not a blank page and a resolution that fades by February.
Designed for 90-day completion • No blank pages • No pressure
